What to Expect for Your Portrait Session

My goal is to capture you as you are, to illustrate what makes you, you. I will work with you via phone or email before the session to guide you on wardrobe choices and select a location that best suits your style.

I shoot all over the Omaha area, and though I have some favorite spots - including Standing Bear Lake, Benson and downtown Bennington - I am always open to new locations depending on what fits your style and personality best.

I have experience with high school senior portraits, outdoor family portraits, pet photography, brand photography and professional headshots.

Choose from three all-inclusive pricing options for portrait sessions. Extended family or group sessions don't cost extra, but do require a 1 hour session minimum. Scroll or click to view portrait packages.

Brand Photos
Choose from three all-inclusive pricing options for portrait sessions, as well as custom packages for half-day shoots, group headshots, quarterly sessions, and more. Brand photography sessions may require additional fees depending on location and rental fees and travel costs. Reach out for a custom quote to fit your needs.

Where will my session be located?

I work with you via phone or email ahead of your session to choose a location that fits best for you.

I shoot all over the Omaha metro area, and though I have some favorite spots - including Standing Bear Lake, Benson and downtown Bennington - I am always open to new locations depending on what fits your style and personality best.

Mini sessions are often held at a specific location depending on the season and timing.

What should I/we wear?

I work with you via phone or email ahead of your session to help guide you on what to wear and answer any other questions you have. Generally it's best to wear clothes that you feel comfortable and confident in. Consider the season and location for the shoot when choosing your wardrobe.

For family or group photos, you can build a color palette of 3-5 colors that complement each other, and use accessories like shoes, belts, jewelry, scarf, vest, to bring it all together. It’s nice to vary colors and textures — for example, instead of having everyone wear blue jeans, consider khaki, black or died jeans, skirts, dresses, leggings, etc.

I find it helpful to lay or hang outfits next to each other as you plan, and always welcome my clients to reach out for a second opinion when you need it!
